Disability Central & ActiveTeen - The @ctivTeen portion of Disability Central currently maintains, Beyond All Barriers, an e-zine for teenagers dealing with a disability. special needs living. They have an ever growing list of tools available,
such as: customized photo communication cards, food journals and medication
journals that can be personalized or customized to your needs, photo ID
stickers for special equipment and other personal items; no-drop hand
towels; parent - teacher / caregiver communication books, and more This
web site also has a place where you can share your caregiver stories and
receive tips and inspiration from other caregivers. It also provides an
area for those with special needs to talk about their accomplishments
as well. Books and videos will also be recommended here. The business
is primarily internet based, so there is no "store-front", however
they will provide personal visits and group sales to people in the Greater
